  • Summary

The electric left foot accelerator vehicle adaptation is designed for drivers who are unable to operate the accelerator pedal with their right foot. This adaptation allows the driver to operate the accelerator pedal to the left of the brake pedal using their left foot. 

The left pedal electrically replicates the standard right hand pedal using an additional OEM accelerator pedal, It can be converted to either the left pedal or the right pedal at the flick of a switch. 

This type of adaptation requires an assessment to ensure user safety after installation. please call us on 01752 546 222 – we have a left foot accelerator in our demonstration vehicle.

  • Summary

The Jeff Gosling hand controls are installed here at Plymouth Mobility Centre by our fully qualified engineers. They use high quality materials resulting in resistance free operation. They are designed for drivers who are unable to operate the foot pedals and allows the driver to operate the brake and accelerator by hand using a single lever. There is the option to have an indicator switch which allows the user to indicate without removing their hand from the lever

  • Summary

The steering ball is the most commonly used steering aid, the steering ball is grasped from the front using a partially clenched hand. it is available in a fixed option or if someone else is likely to use the vehicle there is a quick release option which is operated by pushing a pin at the back of the bracket and sliding out the handle.

The steering peg differs from the steering ball as it is grasped from the side using a partially clenched hand. it is only available as a quick release which is operated by pushing a pin at the back of the bracket and sliding the peg out.

Tetra Grip

  • Summary

The Tetra Grip is designed for users with a weaker grip. It is operated by placing the wrist between two adjustable supports and with fingers placed around the peg. It is available as a quick release for times when drivers are not comfortable using the Tetra grip. The quick release function is operated by pushing the pin on the back of the clamp and sliding the Tetra Grip forward.

Twin Flip Folding Left Foot Accelerator Pedal

The left foot accelerator vehicle adaptation are designed for drivers who are unable to operate the accelerator pedal with their right foot, The accelerator pedal is mounted on the left hand side of the brake pedal and is operated with the left foot. The twin flip folding option allows drivers who are able to use their right foot to simply fold the left pedal away which reveals the right pedal for standard operation
